- Une unité mixte de recherche (UMR5306) rattachée à l’Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 et au CNRS
- Un laboratoire situé sur le campus de LyonTech-la Doua au cœur de la métropole Lyonnaise et de la région Auvergne Rhône-Alpes
- Plus de 300 collaborateurs
- 6 axes thématiques
Une Recherche d’Excellence en Physique et Chimie :
- La Lumière pour façonner et caractériser la matière
- L’élaboration de (nano)matériaux et l’étude de leurs propriétés optiques, électroniques, mécaniques, thermiques, rhéologiques
- Une approche expérimentale et théorique multi-échelle : du nanomètre au mètre ; de l’attoseconde à la seconde
- Des projets à l’interface avec l’ingénierie, la biologie, la santé, l’environnement et l’ingénierie
Une plateforme technologique : iLM-Tech
- Des instruments de pointe et une expertise au service des acteurs académiques et du monde socio-économique
