Quantum nanophotonics: antibunched light and quantum emitter state preparation

In this talk, I will present different nanophotonic platforms implementing archetypal
quantum-optical phenomena. First, motivated by experimental research, I will explore inglephoton emission by nanoparticle-on-mirror [1] and hybrid [2] cavities. I will analyse next the quantization of the cavity fields [3] in nanophotonic systems. Finally, I will present strategies to generate pure states of quantum emitters by means of inverse-designed dielectric cloaks [4,5] and employing modulated electron beams [6].
