I present recent results in the realm of topologic photonics regarding the formation of polariton condensates at room temperature in photonic quasicrystals based on porous silicon photonic structures.
Two approaches will be followed: one using photonic quasicrystals based on Fibonacci structures, where a typical polariton condensate is observed. I then show how quasi-bound states in the continuum induce complex eigenvalues in the Jaynes-Cummings equation, producing intense polariton coalescence.
