Welcome to the homepage of the “Magnetic Nanostructures” group of the iLM!
The group leader is Véronique Dupuis.
Our research activities are focused on different aspects related to magnetic nanoparticles:
- Preparation of nanoparticles by a physical route (laser vaporization and deposition under ultra-high vacuum)
- Assemblies of metallic and bi-metallic nanoparticles (nano-alloys) embedded in a matrix
- Study of the structure and magnetic properties of nanoparticles
- Behavior of nanoparticles deposited on surfaces (diffusion, self-organization)
- Modelling and analysis of magnetic measurements
- Magneto-plasmonics (new activity, in collaboration with the «Nanostructures pour l'optique» group)
