Organic Synthesis for photo-luminescence and Nano-hybrid applications
With the aim to create organic architectures able to complex and to link rare Earth elements, organic ligands based on DOTA, DTPA or several macrocycles are designed, synthesized and functionalized. Each new compound is fully characterized (IR, NMR, Mass and HPLC) and produced at multiscale, providing several milligrams to kilograms if required.
Two types of processes are involved, fine synthesis in conventional lab on one side and half industrial scale synthesis at the IUT Lyon 1 hall facilities on the other side. Use of safety and sustainable development compatible pathways are systematically searched.
